Join us for an online course on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at 10 am. This training aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to support individuals and couples who have experienced perinatal mental health disorders.

Learning Objectives:

- Identify common psychosocial, relational, gender, and sexual issues encountered by individuals and couples affected by perinatal mental health disorders.

- Summarize effective strategies to enhance the well-being of individuals and couples dealing with perinatal mental health challenges, including those who have experienced birth trauma and/or NICU stays.

- Describe consultation, educational, assessment, and treatment considerations for couples from diverse communities coping with perinatal mental health disorders.

- Differentiate between various perinatal mental health conditions, such as perinatal anxiety, perinatal depression, perinatal psychosis, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and "baby blues."

- Recognize the presence of postpartum depression in paternal figures.
