With 11 years of experience as a social worker, Michelle has worked with diverse populations and individuals of all ages. Her experience ranges from crisis intervention to one-on-one client support. She has also held leadership positions and enjoys mentoring others in this field.
Michelle’s therapeutic approach primarily involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-centered therapy. Additionally,she incorporates motivational interviewing, strength-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction as needed. As a therapist Michelle’s ultimate goal is to make a positive impact on individuals, as she firmly believes that improving one person's well-being contributes to making the world a better place.
