As a therapist, Emily is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients. Emily believes that effective therapy relies on open and honest communication, especially during challenging times. As your therapist, Emily’s goal is to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and promote talk therapy as a valuable and healing process. In her practice, she prioritizes building a relationship based on trust and authenticity. She understands that sharing past experiences can be daunting, but views it as an act of courage, not shame. With 8 years of service in the National Guard and experience as a medical social worker, Emily brings a diverse background to her work as a therapist. She employ various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems, to support her clients on their journey to healing.
