    Bio

    Elizabeth (Liz) has a MA in clinical mental health counseling from West Virginia University and is also fully trained and working towards certification in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She is a Reiki Level III master in the Usui method and has received advanced trainings in dissociation and dissociative disorders/complex trauma & PTSD. Liz also enjoys working with clients who are late diagnosed with ADHD & Autism. 

    Liz utilizes an eclectic and holistic approach informed by attachment theory, somatic interventions and EMDR. Liz takes a person-centered approach to counseling and believes that deconstructing hierarchical relationships in the therapeutic space is important in co-creating environments where healing can occur. Liz has experience working with chronic illness/disability, LGBTQ2S+, and various relationship structures. 

    She has worked in a variety of settings from college counseling to residential treatment, community mental health outpatient clinics, and private practice. Liz is passionate about working with adult children of emotionally immature and narcissistic parenting, attachment wounding/relational trauma and working with individuals who would like to incorporate energy medicine, spirituality and holistic methods into their healing journey.
