Bio
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University and a Bachelor’s in Developmental Psychology from Edinboro University. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Pennsylvania and a certified Women’s Mental Health Specialist. My experience includes both private practice and community mental health settings. I’m also an active member of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA).
I primarily work with women—teens, adults, and older adults—offering one-on-one support through life’s various seasons and struggles. I also warmly welcome and affirm clients who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported as your full, authentic self.
Many of the women I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and isolated—struggling silently with anxiety, depression, or the lingering impact of trauma. Whether it’s navigating the challenges of new motherhood, coping with the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, or adjusting to the emotional shifts of menopause, these experiences can leave you feeling like you’ve lost connection with yourself.
I’m here to help you find that connection again.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—without judgment. Together, we’ll explore not only the pain you're carrying, but also the strength that already lives within you. My goal is not just to help you cope, but to support you in healing, rediscovering your voice, and building a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and true to who you are.
I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, drawing from a variety of evidence-based methods. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused, Narrative, Feminist, Humanistic, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, and Trauma-Informed approaches. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you in a way that feels authentic, compassionate, and effective.
