The Difference In Your Wellness: EMDR
Even when stored in your short-term memory, trauma can have lasting effects that impair different facets of your life.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a form of psychotherapy used to treat various types of psychological distress such as:
- Performance Anxiety
- Depression
- Anxiety Disorders
- Separation Issues
- Complicated Grief
- Disturbing Memories
- Sexual, Emotional, and/or Physical Abuse
- Phobias
- Panic Attacks
- Pain Disorders

EMDR therapy is not talk therapy.
The key aspect of EMDR therapy is that it uses external stimuli during your session and targets negative or irrational thinking. Doing so allows your brain to rewire its way of thinking while decreasing fear, anxiety, and stress.
